Here is a collection of noteworthy works, jobs, tasks and assignments I have been involved with in my professional life – first as a journalist and later as a communication consultant and advisor. A career dating back to the early 1990s, where a job as radio host sowed the seed to a lifelong journey.

Journalist and communications specialist/advisor with 20 years of experience. Have done news reporting for both national and regional media corporations. Through the past decade, however, specialized in corporate communication, assisting, advising and coaching the art of conveying a message through to the receiver. Founder & Communication Consultant, StoryLoft (2021 – )
StoryLoft assists organizations and businesses in creating meaningful communication – internal as well as external. Prime service includes everything from developing communication strategy and forming plans to hands-on content production (photo, copy writing) and execution as well as campaign roll-out (case stories, interviews, Social Media entries).
Media and Press advisory is offered too.

Communication Consultant, LINAK A/S (2015 – 2020)
Primary function is to help corporate marketers qualify and produce news stories, case stories, interviews, social media posts and so on. Co-creator of the LINAK Language Group which is to develop and to produce language guidelines (house rules) for LINAK world-wide. Furthermore, the job includes establishing and driving a cross-subsidiary network of LINAK communicators to promote knowledge sharing. 
Secondary role as communications advisor for Group Marketing and occasionally other Group functions.

Media Consultant, Leys.dk (2013 – 2015)
Takes on various assignments as a communications and media advisor for private corporations as well as educational or other public institutions. Tasks solved include analysis, reporting, copywriting and photography. Assignments include assisting enterprises establish contact with authorities – legal as well as political – and make sure messages get through to the right stakeholders. Analysis of corporate communications strategy is offered too.

Press Officer, Sydbank A/S (2012 – 2013)
Point of contact for press and media. Responsible for all non-corporate press releases/announcements and coordination between external writers and Sydbank. Editor of Sydbank’s bi-monthly investment magazine, Sydbank Invest. Serves as press- and media specialist and adviser for the marketing staff. Responsible for bi-weekly columns and articles to various media nationwide. Assists heavily to the further development of Sydbank’s ambitions regarding use of video for internal communication. Responsible for media surveillance and weekly reporting to executive management and board. Point-of-contact for both regional and local management regarding press coverage and handling. Responsible for press coverage of Sydbank’s five regional classical music awards and the big annual national music award ‘Sydbanks Musikpris’.

Journalist, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (2010 – 2012)
Primarily writes news, features and background articles for the corporate Intranet News site, The Hub, and the employees’ magazine, The Grid. Also active with the company Video Editor creating video news. Editor-at-Large for the company InfoScreen system – the main source of News for hourly paid factory workers. Serves as communication advisor for colleagues et al. and takes on responsibility for Vestas’ Social Media initiatives on Facebook and Twitter as one of two Editors.

Web Editor, UPDATE (2006 – 2009)
Responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of the Institute website – update.dk. Responsible for developing UPDATE’s Social Media strategy and introducing blogs and wikis. Work includes being advisor in Digital and Social Media – both to the Institute staff and the external educators. Editor of the weekly newsletters (internal/external).

Copywriter & IA, Skybrud.dk (2005 – 2006)

Works as Information Architect and Copywriter for the bureau, Skybrud.dk. Responsible for the Skybrud.edit CMS manual (written and digital) content. Work also includes writing and developing strategies for the partner Aakjærs – primarily for advertisement and campaigns.

Secretary General, Konservativ Ungdom (2004 – 2005)
Head of office. Responsible for memberservice and overall coordination of campaigns. Advisor/support for both Chairman and executive committee. Daily contact and coordination with the Party (Conservatives). Consultant for local offices in Denmark. Chief Editor of www.konservativungdom.dk.

Web Journalist & IA, NORDJYSKE Medier internet (2004)
Writing and editing the daily news for the internet edition. Responsible for updating teletext services and news tickers and editing photo material on the fly. Additionally services the two appurtenant radio stations with bi-hourly live updates on the traffic in the coverage area.

Webjournalist & IA, Jyllands-Posten internet (2003)

Writes and edits daily news for the internet edition. Furthermore assigned to various odd jobs like photo edition, structuring theme sites and producing daily picture wheels. In charge of the relaunch of JP’s Mediarium website – the paper’s education facility aimed at kids in primary and high school.

Head of Com, DeepBlue Diving ApS. (2001 – 2002)

Responsible for leveraging relevant information about activities, sales and courses to customers, students and other staff – news letters, direct mails etc. Editor for the company website.

Ass. Instructor, (PADI) KingFish SCUBA Diving/DeepBlue Diving ApS. (2001)
Teaches diving theory and skills to new SCUBA students and assists Instructors and Staff Instructors in both pool training and open water training. Responsible tour planning and execution of expeditions with certified and skilled divers. Trips primarily goes to Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

Research, planning, producing and presenting stories for the daily news cast. Primarily covers soccer and handball, but acting as the station field reporter at larger tennis events (ATP/WTA-tour).

Journo-intern at the DR Sports department. Produces stories for the daily news cast and for the Sunday night background.

Journalist intern, Bonniers Publications – ’I FORM’ (1998 – 1998)

Journo-intern at the lifestyle magazine ‘I FORM’. Writing and editing stories as well as assisting freelance writers. Cooperating with both photographers and graphics designers in planning the articles. Takes on the responsibility of Column Editor for the magazine.
